Enlighten me

Tue Jan 13, 2009, 9:04 PM
This is a puzzle

Without advancements:
Man can run on average 10 to 12 miles per hour.
Man can walk for miles but needs to sustain himself physically with shelter and food so travel doesn't usually offer a safe option.
When man does travel sickness normally follows because he isn't able to produce antibodies to bacteria that he hasn't been exposed to quick enough to ward off disease.

Though possible to sustain himself alone: Man needs social interaction to ease survival and help with emotional balance.

Maybe we were ment to be home dwellers in towns and fields...to spend our time with close loved ones and in the wide open spaces of natures beauty. To spend our time helping one another instead of selfishly trying to overcome others in the race to the best.

Maybe the best, is something so much more simple.... something we have lost in this advanced age.

No Im not Amish....I just think we can find so much more peace in the simple things in life.
If we just took the time to stop and realize--- what we are searching for, maybe

we will find we had it all along.
